Despite waterlogged patches, Malaccans witnessed an excellent display of Samba Football

Malacca: Football fans in Malacca got a taste of samba football recently courtesy of Kuala Lumpur’s Brazil Football Centre (BFC) who visited Malacca for two friendly matches with the Portuguese Youth Football Club (PYFC) at the Malacca High School ground.
Despite the rain and waterlogged pitch, both sides churned up delightful football. The visitors displayed deft touches of the ball coupled with impressive shooting and dribbling skills while the locals, who play for the under-18 and senior teams, responded with close marking and hasty defensive clearances to keep their more polished opponents at bay.
In the under-18 encounter, Mohd Fairi Rizal struck home an 18th minute penalty to give BFC a slim 1-0 win.
In the senior match where BFC fielded five Brazilian veteran players, the home side drew on superior fitness to carve out a hard-earned 1-0 win through Salvino De Costa who netted the winner in the second-half.
BFC head coach Lamartine Fernandez, 39, said they were disappointed that the early afternoon rain resulted in waterlogged patches on the field.
Nevertheless, he said the players enjoyed themselves despite the heavy ground condition and both teams gave a good account of themselves in the two evenly contested games.
He also praised PYFC players, saying he was impressed by their individual skills and ability to read the game.
He singled out Salvino as having the most promising potential who could go far if provided with proper grooming and systematic training.
The 18-year-old captains the senior team of PYFC, a club based in Ujong Pasir Portuguese Settlement.
Fernandez disclosed that he was considering offering Salvino a stint with BFC on an attachment basis.
BFC was established in Subang Jaya, Selangor in 2004. It conducts coaching and training programmes all year round, catering to under-8, -12, -16 and -18 age groups. Promising talents are sent to Sao Paulo, Brazil on playing attachments with leading domestic club sides.
Presently, there are close to 200 players training with BFC either in its playing or coaching programmes.
Sterling players from BFC have turned out for several Kuala Lumpur Junior League teams and one 16-year-old, Gan Jay Han, has even gained a call-up earlier this year to train with the national under-17 squad.
Friday, November 6, 2009 8:28 PMYesterday went to watch a movie named Phobia 2 in the GSC in Dataran at 10.20pm after i finished my job in MP as well..
ermn.. while waiting for the movie to start and my fren as well..
went to play basketball game in the amusement arcade..
and yeap.. score a 400+marks ... first time i manage to keep track of my performance..
usually my score would be around 300+marks and that definitely marks an improvement in my performance.
After playing that game..
went to watch Phobia 2 with my bRother - eDmund, Andrew, Calvin and GP.

Ter, Puak, Shin and Aey are the movie crew of an upcoming horror movie. They are shooting their last scene. On the last night, Puak is trying to be cool and tells one of the sick cast members that, "the show must go on". So when that actress accidentally dies during the filming she makes sure to come back from the dead to finish her role. The four of them must shoot the movie that has a real ghost playing the role of ghost in the end. and the main actress must not know about this.
And the most scary part of the movie would be the Novice where i was shocked for a few times where the kid was thrown rocks at him after he throw the rocks towards the bushes..
the sound effect of itself when this happened shocked me for times..
and the funniest part would be the last where all the people who suppose dead are not dead due to twist and turn.. but in the end... they all died in the accident as there was a woman who are sleepy rammed into them at the end of the movie.

sorry ya.. ntg to do here... since usually on the weekday.. few customers passes thru and sales are bad as well..
the cause for this problem is mostly because the construction which involves the renovation in the inner and outer of the shopping mall itself.
thus alot of ppl did not know how to get into the complex itself and besides that, the parking spaces are limited due to the same reason.
it must have been s*** for all the people who shuttled between MP and DP since the path leading towards to either one of the shopping malls has been shut off.because of this, wishing that it would be fixed soon enough since another shopping mall will be built finish soon enough and that's JUSCO.
btw, yest went to watch Phobia 2, somehow it's seems funny towards the end even though it's a scary movie. ;)

Still remember this pictures?today i gt the shock of my life when my brother told me that the author for this manga, Yoshito Usui has passed away.
For so long that i enjoyed reading his manga, and now he's dead while climbing on a mountain's path and only has been discovered only few days after his family reported of him missing while goin on a jungle trek.
Body Found with Clothes Resembling Shin-chan Creator's
Male remains have been discovered on Saturday morning in the mountains of Gunma Prefecture, the same general area where Crayon Shin-chan creator Yoshito Usui was reportedly going hiking on September 11 when he went missing. Authorities have not identified the remains yet, but they told the TBS television station that the clothing on the remains resemble those of Usui.
According to Usui's family, he said he was "going hiking for a day in Gunma Prefecture" on the morning of September 11. His mobile phone was last detected in the vicinity of Karuizawa, a town about 100 kilometers (about 60 miles) northwest of his Kasukabe home, on Monday. Karuizawa is located in the mountainous eastern part of Nagano Prefecture, near the border of the equally mountainous Gunma Prefecture. In particular, Usui is said to have expressed his intent to climb the Arafune mountain, which towers 1,422 meters (4,665 feet) high at the border between Nagano and Gunma Prefectures. Authorities have been searching this area since September 12.
At 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, the authorities received a report from a climber that "there are remains below a rocky ledge."

Update: More background information added.
Update 2: The first person to discover the remains told the MBS television station, "It didn't seem like a place where people can get to. He probably fell there from above." The remains were lying facing down with apparent fractures throughout the entire body, and had seemed to be there for several days. Police from the nearby town of Shimonita will recover the body on Sunday.
Update 3: The Mainichi Shimbun and Zaikei Shimbun papers report that the Sakushi City Fire Department received the emergency call about the remains with tattered clothes at around 10:15 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. on Saturday. The remains were about 100 to 300 meters directly below an Arafune cliff.

everything was still in a total shock, since i found out his death on the newspaper which shows their death and how it happened. And the coffin which laid his body at, the lifeless body when he should be having the time of his life, goin into a prestigious university, getting a good job as well.
By now, if he still alive at this moment.. he would in his final years in one of the public university, probably taking engineering courses.
and i din get any news bout the MURDERER as no one had asked bout it.. and neither did i,
some said the guy was dead, some said paralyzed,
bt seeing that guy just being convicted of drunk driving and causing the deaths of these two top students and being sentenced for 5years wasn't enough for me.
he supposed to being sentenced the maximum years that he can get.
F**K That!!

bt then i really hope that the OH's family would gradually let this thing to rest..
jz like what im suppose to do as well.

Man jailed for causing deaths of top students

MALACCA: A 28-year-old man was jailed five years and fined RM12,000 for causing the death of two best friends in a road accident three years ago.
Magistrate Mohd Fairus Johari imposed the sentence on Ng Hann Biau who was convicted for reckless driving that resulted in the deaths of STPM top scorers Edmond Lee Wenn Jia and Oh Teck Chuen on April 23, 2006.
Lee and Oh, both 20, were killed when Ng crashed his car into the motorcycle they were on along Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho at about 1am. Also killed in the accident was Ng’s friend Siow Kok Leong, 23, who was in the passenger seat.
When met outside the court, family members of Lee and Oh said they were satisfied that justice was meted out to Ng.
Oh’s mother Lye Mei Yong, 57, who was unable to hold back her emotions, said the family can now put the ordeal behind them.
“When the trial started, some of my friends told me not to bother with it as they had no confidence in the courts.
“However, I am glad to see for myself that the country’s justice system works,” she said.
However, Lee’s father Heng Hwa, 55, said attempts by both families to rebuild their lives would have to be put on hold pending a High Court appeal filed by Ng’s lawyer Azrul Zulkifli Stork.
“Nothing can replace the loss of our sons but we are satisfied that justice was served,” he added.
Prosecution was handled by prosecuting officer Chief Insp Shanizan Shaman.

and had to replace ppl's job in FNCC..
thn at 10smtg in the morning..
while i was sitting in one corner doin my work..
i saw every1 were rushing towards one place.
that's whn my driver told me that there muz be some pallets that dropped down from the storage area.. and that's what i thought as well...
well~ since i've never seen things such as whole pallets dropped from the storage area in FNCC except from my Tiong Nam wrking place..
i've decided to check it out with my driver, Sharin.
and that's where i found out instead of pallets dropping down..
found that one of the guy who work there..
he was crushed between two pallets.. one frm the front and another frm the back.
and the whole place was covered with blood and the pallets were also smeared with blood as well.
it's was in a bloody mess.
and his mouth and nose keep pouring out blood non stop..
which lead the blood covering the floor in puddles.
believe me.. if eu saw what i saw tat morning..
i assure eu that eu dun even hav the mood to eat or talk anymore.
there's one guy that was earning a basic salary..
and almost die.
at tat time.. i tot he was about to die since after awhile.. black blood are coming out from the nose of his whn they about to load him to the car to be send to the hospital.
and tat time..
i tot wanted to take pics of the whole incident..
bt then seeing the whole thing happened in front of me..
i din take the pics since if the person had really die during the journey to the hospital or at the hospital..
then i might really goin thru the trauma thingy seeing ppl life jz wasted like tat.
luckily in the afternoon.
i asked the ppl around for the guy's condition..
they said that his condition had stabilized d.. bt still in the intensive care unit (ICU)
and tat had lessen my worry alot.
bt still seeing all this happened in front of me.
i know that our life can juz ended just before our eyes.
and one shud really do what they wanted to do in their life so they wun hav regrets on later in their life as well.
to this.
i wish to all my frens and family..
to take care of urself.
and to do whatever eu wan to do in ur life could be.
as for me.
i too will do the same.
